Accommodations :

We make no pretenses of being a top-end luxury lodge. Accommodations at our homestead are not luxurious however are certainly comfortable  enough for our year around use. We serve meals in our home and have two heated bunk houses for our guests. There is also a bath house with hot shower, garden and green house to supply fresh vegetables.
We cater to families  and small private groups and prefer to host no more than six guests at a time. Rather than being one of many clients you will be treated as our guest and receive personal, individualized  attention.

Decades of living in the wilderness has educated us that the best and safest daily schedules are dictated by the seasons and weather rather than an arbitrary “eight-to-five” hourly regime. Weather permitting you can choose to photograph fox or bears in the morning, or hike to the top of a sea bird rookery, and still manage to catch a salmon for the evening meal.
Along with the ability to hike directly from camp, we maintain two specialized, tundra tire equipped aircraft. A two seat Piper Supercub and a four seat, Alaskan built and FAA certified, Piper Producer. They allow us to fly out to creeks, rivers and beaches un-impacted by the larger, float equipped aircraft operated by most lodges.
